Hi! I'm Livi, an illustrator, climber, and lover of puzzles, based in Sheffield, UK.

My enthusiasm for development originated from a naive yet optimistic reaction to a fortuitous encounter with Colossal Cave Adventure - "I could build that!".

Several weeks of reading, writing, debugging (while resisting the urge to throw my laptop), and subsequent re-writing led to my emergence, humbled but with the accomplishment of having crafted a somewhat chaotic JavaScript codebase and a lasting love of coding.

7 years on I'm having even more fun building full stack applications with slightly less chaos, but no less enthusiasm.

Freedom4Girls

I'm currently engaged with an amazing charity dedicated to ending inequalities associated with menstruation. Together, we're developing a native mobile application using React Native. This app will offer period tracking features to empower users to predict their cycle, manage symptoms, and identify potential issues. Additionally, it will provide valuable resources and guidance already offered by F4G.

InSheffield

As a newcomer to the city, I'm designing a web application to keep track of all my favourite spots, and recommendations! Currently using React on the frontend, with a PostgreSQL database.
